The Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission (SMBRC) and cities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Torrance proudly present the Clean Bay Restaurant Certification Program. The program recognizes restaurants in the south Bay area that are proactively preventing pollution of our beaches and our oceans!
Why restaurants?
Restaurants handle large amounts of waste and improper disposal could end up in stormwater runoff and storm drain systems, which poses a serious problem to ocean health. Certifying restaurants allows us to congratulate those who have gone above and beyond mandatory stormwater regulations.
Do you part.
You can help keep our beaches clean and safe by visiting your local certified restaurants today! Be sure to look for the “Clean Bay Restaurant Certified” logo and show your support and appreciation of their efforts to be environmentally safe and friendly.
